Rocco Sivolella, 14, had a particularly rough bout of COVID-19 last January. He was taken to the hospital and soon after, diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Within weeks, he'd completed his first round of chemotherapy, according to a GoFundMe launched for his family.
Rocco’s teammates and friends designed bracelets to show support.
His church over the weekend published a post to Facebook asking for prayers.
The GoFundMe page, launched by Christina Kindler, had raised more than $77,500 as of Monday, March 21.
